Horizon Data Center Solutions had the novel idea of opening a facility in each of the three major national power grids - a tri-coastal strategy involving Tier III data center space around the East and West Coast and Texas.  The plan is a complex one and its opening stages are looking good.

Horizon has enterprise and federal clients, and as such maintains very high levels of security and technological advances. With silver and gold LEED certifications, as well as incredible security and redundancy, they are an obvious choice for many major organizations and corporations who are conscious of the environment, interested in green initiatives, and who require the utmost degree of professionality and security.

One of the great appeals of Horizon's tri-coastal strategy is that customers will be able to work with the same reliable, environmentally-sound company in different locations across the country.  The facilities are unified by HorizonSecureNet, the private fiber network which Horizon developed to maintain continuity nationally.

Their first partnership in the interest of their tri-coastal strategy is with Power Loft, and negotiations are taking place in Northern California locations.  The plan is to end up having 120,000 square feet of data center space with more than 30 megawatts of power available in various locations throughout the US!
