Floating GOOGLE Data Centers?!?

I just received an e-mail from my little sister with a link to a
slashdot post about a
Google Patent Filing outlining Water Based (floating) Data Centers, including systems that may be powered by the motion of water.
It seems their plan is slightly different than IDS; IDS floating data centers will be anchored in port the majority of the time, whereas Googles will be positioned out at sea. There is also some significant differences in the way sea water is used for cooling, and obviously some differences in power generation!
