“What do you do?” We get asked this question often and it’s not always easy to answer. We move data centers. “Well what’s a data center?” This time, we are prepared! The simple answer is ‘computer stuff’, but we’re not here for the simple answer. The technical answer is that a data center is a large group of networked computer servers
typically used by organizations for the remote storage, processing and distribution of large amounts of data. Branching out a little farther a colocation is a data center in which businesses or persons can rent space for servers; providing the building, cooling, power, bandwidth and physical security.
